SparkPost Announcement: We’re Deprecating TLSv1.0
*Note: This is an operational email with product updates. You are receiving this email because you are a SparkPost customer.
This is an operational reminder that we are deprecating TLSv1.0 on June 30, 2018, in order to meet an important industry-wide security standard that goes into effect on that date. Starting on June 30, all API calls made to SparkPost must use TLSv1.1 or higher. We previously emailed you about this on May 2.
In an effort to help our customers with the transition, we’ve set up test endpoints that will reject any API calls that do not use TLSv1.1 or higher. You can use these endpoints to inject email traffic (or make other API calls) using your current software to determine whether it uses TLSv1.1 or higher (traffic will be accepted) or whether it uses TLSv1.0 (traffic will be rejected). These endpoints are described in this support article.
This is an important security update and we are working to make sure the transition is a smooth one.
